WATER TESTING

Water testing is the first step to determining the best treatment method and technology. Fresh Water Systems will perform a complimentary water analysis testing for basic mineral content including:

  1. Hardness (Calcium Carbonate)

  2. Iron

  3. Manganese

  4. pH

  5. Total Dissolved Solids
     

WATER FILTRATION

Water filtration is the process of removing or reducing the concentration of particulate matter, including suspended particles, parasites, bacteria, algae, viruses, and fungi, as well as other undesirable chemical and biological contaminants from contaminated water to produce safe and clean water for a specific purpose.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Reverse osmosis is a process that removes foreign contaminants, solid substances, large molecules and minerals from water by using pressure to push it through specialized membranes. It is a water purification system used to improve water for drinking, cooking and other important uses.

Carbon filtering is a method of filtering that uses a bed of activated carbon to remove impurities from water using absorption.

Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. The resulting soft water requires less soap for the same cleaning effort, as soap is not wasted bonding with calcium ions.
